Building Connections: KTER CoP for NIDILRR Employment Grantees

We kicked off our first KTER Center Grantee Community of Practice (CoP) in early March! This inaugural session introduced the purpose of the CoP, highlighted our dissemination plan, and explored ways KTER can support NIDILRR employment grantees in amplifying their work. Stay tuned—this is just the beginning.

Autism Research Virtual Study Opportunity

The Kessler Foundation is recruiting participants for a fully remote study evaluating an intervention to improve job interview skills in adults with autism. Eligible participants (ages 18–65 with an autism diagnosis) will complete online sessions over several weeks, with compensation provided. If you’re interested, complete a brief confidential survey and a member of the research team will follow up.

Business & Workforce Insights

The KTER Center will be creating several resources focused on helping connect disability research and researchers to business.

One project in motion that the KTER Center discussed with its Business Advisory Council in March is a scoping review to identify strategies researchers have successfully used to engage industry. We will examine the barriers they have encountered and explore how these strategies and challenges vary or align across different industries.

We will use the resources we identify in this search of resources to build a toolkit KTER.org will house.
