The Center on Knowledge Translation for Employment Research (KTER Center) invites you to this webcast designed for researchers who are interested in strengthening how their work connects with external audiences—particularly employers and other business‑oriented stakeholders. In this webcast, our presenter Amy Rumrill of PAR Workforce Enterprises will explore how publicly available labor market data can support knowledge translation and dissemination efforts related to NIDILRR‑funded research.
Participants will:
- Get oriented to key public data sources, including O*NET and Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) labor market information.
- Build shared understanding about how these data can be packaged and framed to communicate research relevance to business‑focused audiences.
- Identify and discuss specific variables within these data sources that may be most useful and meaningful for participants’ own projects.
